Grading Guidelines
The teaching staff at RAI Digital Charter High utilize the results of daily student performance to evaluate and grade all student work in relation to the standards under study. A traditional A-F grading system is used to report student progress. If a student is having academic or personal difficulties in a given course, the teacher develops a plan designed to help the student experience success. Should the student continue to demonstrate difficulty, the student is referred to the Council of Master Teachers for consideration for intervention or supplementary services and explore the options for further interventions. Academic Credit: Credits acquired at another school will be accepted if that high school is accredited. An accredited school is one that is accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency or by the State Department of Education. Students transferring credits from foreign or non-accredited domestic high schools must provide a transcript and must take a designated test to validate their credits. Those students who have been home schooled follow the same procedures as students from unaccredited domestic schools. The transcripts must include a listing of the subjects taken at each grade level. |
