RAI Digital Charter High is on the cutting edge with the use of technology. We offer a virtual school environment where classroom instruction is taught in real time on the Internet.

Students work from their home computer stations or from any computer in the world. Our fully credentialed and highly qualified teachers deliver instruction directly to their students at regularly scheduled class times. The teachers speak directly to their students, who in turn can participate in classroom discussions. Video capabilities allow for students to see their teacher and content related video clips. Electronic whiteboards allow teachers to present instructional materials much as they would do in a traditional classroom. The school also uses other software platforms for independent class work, test taking, and advanced online courses.

The mission of the Rainbow Advanced Institute for Learning Digital Charter High School (RAI) is to enable all students in grades 6-12 to become self-motivated, competent, lifelong learners equipped with rigorous academic standards as well as the technological and problem solving skills necessary to become contributing members of society in the 21st century. RAI is founded on the principles of a classical education, advanced use of technologies, and teachers as professionals. The school was chartered with the vision that all students should receive a college preparatory course of study if they are to become effective citizens.
